Bill Barksdale is a lifelong resident of Okmulgee, Oklahoma. He joined the law practice of his father, John H. W. Barksdale, and Dale Rainey in 1973 upon completing his law degree from the University of Oklahoma Law School. He has been active in the community as President of the Chamber of Commerce, President of the Okmulgee Main Street Historical Society and has been Municipal Judge since 1978 in addition to maintaining a general law practice.
